Owner

Dr. Carrie Melloh

Originally from Kokomo, Indiana, Dr. Melloh graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency with the Community Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program in Indianapolis. She previously practiced with Fishers Family Physicians for three years before joining Family Medicine Care at the Fishers Pavilion.

Care That Extends Beyond the Clinic

Dr. Melloh is board-certified in family practice, has a strong interest in women’s health, and is certified in ImPACT testing for concussion screenings. She is actively involved in her church and local community. In addition to her medical practice, she leads Anna’s Acres, named in honor of her grandmother, where she is passionate about building a horse-centered, family-focused environment and helping grow a strong, connected community.

Tonya Wright

I've loved horses for as long as I can remember, and that passion began in fifth grade when I got my first horse. I went on to compete in 4-H and open shows, eventually working with and showing horses for others and gaining hands-on experience breaking and training horses while continuing to show my own.

A Life That Came Full Circle

Born and raised in Kokomo and a graduate of Western High School, I spent about 20 years living in Hamilton County before returning home. I also dedicated 30 years to a career as a corrections officer. After retiring this January, I’ve returned to where I feel most at home, back in the barn, surrounded by horses and reconnecting with the passion that started it all.

Reese Gable

Reese Gable serves as the Barn Lead at Anna's Acres, where she combines her passion for horses with a strong commitment to excellence in horse care and customer service. An accomplished rider with years of hands-on equine experience, Reese oversees the daily operations of the barn, helping ensure that every horse receives exceptional care and attention.
Known for her strong work ethic, knowledge, and calm demeanor around horses, Reese plays a key role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of both the horses and the facility. She works closely with boarders, students, families, and visitors to create a welcoming environment where both horses and people can thrive.
Whether she is caring for horses, assisting riders, supporting events, or helping new families feel at home, Reese brings professionalism, compassion, and a genuine love for the equine industry to everything she does. Her dedication and leadership make her an invaluable part of the Anna's Acres team.
What truly sets Reese apart is her heart for both horses and people. Her attention to detail, servant-minded attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile have made her a favorite among boarders and visitors alike. Reese embodies the welcoming, family-oriented culture that defines Anna's Acres, helping create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and at home.

Christian Cooley

With over 35 years of involvement in the equestrian world, CeCe has dedicated her life to learning, training, and competing with horses. She began her competitive career in eventing before ultimately focusing her passion on dressage.

A Record of Dedication and Achievement

Over the years, she has trained and competed through the FEI levels and is proud to hold both her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals.

From Barn to Bridle—She’s Done It All

Her experience with horses extends far beyond the show ring. From training and competing to daily horsemanship and management, she has been fortunate to experience nearly every aspect of the horse world except playing polo!

Horses have always been at the center of her life, and she continues to enjoy sharing that knowledge and passion with us!

Michelle Russell

From the time she was a teen, she rode fearlessly on her best friend’s trail horses. Those early rides sparked a lifelong love of horses that never left her heart. While her career path led her into the bowling and event industry for over 20 years, her passion for horses remained constant.

A Career Built on High-Impact Events

Throughout her career, she has created and managed events for the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers, and Indiana Fever while also coordinating celebrity functions across the country and raising funds for numerous non-profit organizations.

A Wealth of Experience, Focused on Impact

Michelle brings a wealth of experience in youth programs, non-profits, social media, and event planning to Anna’s Acres, where her lifelong passion and professional expertise come together.

Western Trainer (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced)

Pepper Cline

She brings over 40 years of riding experience and a lifelong passion for horses! Originally from Michigan, she has an impressive background that includes working at the Michigan State University Horse Farm, competing on the MSU Horse Judging Team, and earning a bachelor’s degree in animal science before later pursuing a nursing degree.

Two Decades of Building Riders and Confidence

For the past two decades, Pepper has coached young riders, including her own daughter, into nationals, helping each one grow in confidence, skill, and love for the sport.

Stephanie Mckinstry

For nearly 30 years, I’ve been blessed with a strong marriage and a full life raising our five children here in Kokomo, where I’ve lived my entire life. My career began in healthcare, working in surgery at Howard Community, where I learned the value of care, patience, and dedication.

From Caregiving to Nature-Led Learning

As my children grew, I felt called in a new direction and opened my own childcare, which eventually led me to nature-based education. Five years ago, I followed that passion and founded Caterpillar Clubhouse Nature Preschool.

Guided by Standards, Driven by Nature

Today, I’m proud to have achieved Level 4 in Paths to Quality, National Accreditation through NAFCC, and Nature Explorer Certification. My greatest joy is helping children connect with nature, encouraging them to explore, create, and grow while learning to care for the world around them. Partnering with Anna’s Acres for field trips has been a meaningful part of that journey, allowing more families to experience the beauty and value of nature together.
